Backbenchers Pvt Ltd.

Following is the Ms-paint reproduction of the last page of my class note book..

Can't you see shades of MF Hussain in this??

For me, creativity is at it's peak whenever I am at the back-bench and when the teacher's not noticing.. a sudden outburst of boredom manifests itself into pics.... There is a whole bunch of more pics, I could only transfer some into MS-paint, obviously because there is no substitute for the pen...

What do I draw??
Hmm, I have a special love for the things of nature depicted in the pic, as I have been drawing them since childhood and I don't know anything else..

I don't claim to be a great artist..
But like great artists, I start off with some idea in mind and end up with a totally different picture.. Its called adaptation ppl..

e.g. the two animals in the right side of the pic..
- the left one I started with the intention of making a dog, but ended up with a hybrid of a lamb and some alien
- the other one was supposed to be a horse, but now I guess it is a creature from those Spielberg movies..
But what the heck, I can draw what I want.. Can 90% of the world understand those so called great paintings, ha???

Now you could be thinking, " Kitna Vella(idle) hai. Ek to ajeeb si drawing banata hai and he has the time to transfer it to MS-paint??"

Another thing I noticed of back benchers... Of the backbencher Notebooks I surveyed, 83% had the picture of a mountain, sun, trees, birds, and all those stuff drawn in the last page.. The rest 17% were those who drew well..
Are you part of the 83%??

hmmm.. elephant butt, I have never tried that. You have given me the inspiration of my latest masterpiece

@ chriz

thats the advantage of being in college, you can sit wherever you want if you occupy that place first

@ Urv

Even I was trying to auction it.. Christies and Sotheby couldn't determine the true value of the drawing

Hehe I belong to the 17 %. Further even amongst those, I belong to a very rare breed. I used to DRAW sitting on the FIRST BENCH and LISTEN TO THE LECTURES!!!

In fact best concentration came when I was not trying hard to concentrate on the lectures and insted just listened to them mindlessly while my hand was sweeping random lines on my notebook. Then like you said, I adapted. I just tried to figure out what the lines looked like and continued in that direction!!

When profs realised I was actually listening, they stopped bothering with my extra-curricular activities in class!

I was thinking of posting camera shots of my class drawings just few days back. Maybe will.
